Art History alumna curates exhibition of Dutch art

One of the things we love most at Nottingham is celebrating the achievements of our many talented alumni. And one of them is Hettie (Henrietta) Ward (BA Art History 2006) whose acclaimed show Home, Land and Sea: Art in the Netherlands 1600-1800 opened at Manchester Art Gallery on 24 May 2013.

Hettie joined Manchester in 2011 as a National Gallery Curatorial Trainee (funded by The Art Fund), and what better way to learn about the show than to follow her blog? And once you finished reading about the process of curating and installing this impressive exhibition of Dutch and Flemish paintings, go and see the show. It’s open until May 2014 at Manchester Art Gallery.
